Graduate Internship, Los Angeles:
The HBO Archives offers 10-week paid internships throughout the year for currently enrolled Graduate students in the final year of an ALA-accredited Library Science or Archive Program.
The ideal intern candidate is hardworking with a positive attitude, interested in a studio archive profession, detail-oriented, able to work independently or as part of a team, and has previous internship or professional experience.

Intern duties vary but can include:
Evaluate a collection of born-digital assets and create a preservation plan
Participate in department meetings, shadow manager, attend executive level meetings
Contribute to creation of cataloging workflow for moving image media
Inventory, process, and catalog a collection of costumes, props, and/or art
Recommended experience and/or coursework (depending on project):
Experience using asset management systems or other structured databases
Experience handling media or archival collections
Demonstrated interest in working for a studio or corporate archive
Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
