This position provides a critical function to ensure the supportability of Warner Media's Enterprise asset platforms. This position also has primary responsibility for supporting the Hardware and Software Asset Management function across all the infrastructure platforms.
Hardware Asset Management:
Reconciliation between scanning, audit data and asset records
Administer remote scanning tool including setting IP ranges and credentials
Works with asset owners to validate asset data discrepancies
Creates and tracks work requests to validate asset data, resolve remote scanning issues, and gaining service account access permissions
Creates and tracks change requests associated with remote scanning activities
Develops schedule for and runs asset data report
Point contact for internal and external data requests Software Asset Management
Supports and enables the Software Asset Management process
Assists with the process of managing software licenses and subscriptions based on the purchase and usage of the current installs
Compares entitlements to deployments and provides associated analysis including needs for purchases
Uses Discovery / Software Asset Management tools as required to provide the Software Asset Management function
Provides contract and financial assistance to groups purchasing licenses and subscriptions
Tracks contract compliance to include licensing metrics
Supports license key management program in support of Software Asset Management
Assists with the tracking of licenses against our contracts
Assists with assigning licenses or subscriptions as required
Processes Microsoft O365 requests in Service Now, BOMA.ITAM
Communicates with Turner end users to assign Microsoft subscriptions
Responsible for all Turner and Warner Bros. Microsoft license reservations
Manages VMWARE portal and requests for use of VMWARE tokens
Coordinates with Turner Finance for proper software cost allocation
Creates detailed HW data comparison summaries and remote scanning results
Creates and maintains precise entitlement reconciliation reports
Organizes and maintains multiple software trackers including end user and cost center data
Must have 3+ years of asset management support experience including software and hardware functions
3+ years of vendor management
3+ years of experience with IT contracts
Must have experience with data analysis
Knowledge of lifecycle management
Must be able to communicate with the management team
3+ years’ experience with IT preferred experience with software licensing background
Experience working with large datasets
Experience with financial analysis
Bachelor’s degree in financial, technical or business discipline and/or equivalent work experience
